CIQ Consultancy is involved and result orientated. My consultancy is supported by multiple visits or contact moments, depending on the area of request.
Being a dairy cattle lover, a future in the poultry sector was not what I expected myself. My journey began when I started to work as a geneticist in poultry. After some great years, the mystery of incubation motivated me to gain more knowledge about hatcheries, incubation, and broiler performance. In the years thereafter, I’ve assisted in the development of new incubation technologies and supported the complete building process and installation of new hatcheries.
The coherence between the topics incubation and broiler performance, triggered me to put my thoughts on paper which resulted in a PhD in chicken embryo physiology.
From science and practical situations, I’ve learned to interpret poultry signals to define a potential problem and find a practical solution. I prefer being on site, with chicks in the hatchery or at the farm.
